Is it one you set up? Or did a company include it to promote their service? Is that what you want? This is such an easy fundraising method. To encourage the largest number of new members, place these words at the bottom of all your emails...

If you need help setting up your signature, find your email system in the list below and follow the steps.

  • Complete the join form which asks for a few personal details
  • Launch Outlook
  • Select Tools, then select Options
  • Click the Mail Format tab
  • Click the Signatures
  • Click the New button to add a new message
  • Click in the Edit Signature text field and type the desired signature text
  • Click OK
  • Click on the name of your new message in Signature for New Messages and Signatures for Replies and Forwards boxes
  • Send an e-mail to yourself to test it out
  • Launch Outlook Express
  • Select Tools, then select Options
  • Click the Signatures tab
  • Click the New button to add a new message
  • Click in the Edit Signature text field and type the desired signature text
  • If you would like to automatically add the new signature to all outgoing messages, check the option for Add Signatures to All Outgoing Messages
  • Click OK to return to the message list
  • Send an e-mail to yourself to test it out
  • Login to your Yahoo! Mail account
  • Select Options then Mail Options from navigation bar
  • Follow the Signature link
  • Enter the desired message in the text field
  • Check the box 'Show a signature on all outgoing messages'
  • Click Save Changes
  • Send an e-mail to yourself to test it out
  • Login to your Hotmail account
  • Go to the Mail category
  • Click on Options, then More Options
  • Follow the Personal e-mail signature link
  • Type the desired message in the text field
  • Click Save
  • Send an e-mail to yourself to test it out
  • Log in to your gmail or googlemail account
  • Select Settings from the top menu bar
  • Scroll down to the Signature box, and click the radio button
  • Enter your desired signature text in the box
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click Save Settings
  • Your signature is now set up, send yourself an email to try it out
  • Log into your AOL AIM account
  • Click on Settings
  • Click on the Compose tab
  • Under Signature, click on 'Use Signature'
  • Enter your desired signature text
  • Click Save
  • Send an e-mail to yourself to test it out
  • From the AOL menu select Mail, then click Set Mail Signatures
  • In the Set up Signatures window, click Create
  • In the Signature Name box, type a name for this signature
  • Type your desired signature text
  • Click OK
  • Click the X to close the Set up Signatures window
  • Send an e-mail to yourself to test it out
